Cephalexin

It is mainly used for gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections, such as influenza, hemorrhagic septicemia, streptococcal disease, swine erysipelas, anthrax, emphysematous gangrene, malignant edema, actinomycosis, necrobacillosis, leptospirosis, etc., which cause septic fever (41-43°C) or persistent hypothermia (below 37°C), indigestion, preference for cold water, lethargy and drowsiness, lameness, blue ears, tears, etc. It is also used to treat various inflammatory diseases, such as infectious pleuropneumonia, pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, blue ear disease, mastitis, metritis, stomatitis, urethritis, etc., which cause cough, asthma, dyspnea, low fertility, many stillbirths or death of piglets 7-10 days after birth, red and swollen breasts, bad milk, decreased milk production, mouth and foot ulcers, constant drooling, sores and suppuration, etc.

1. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to cephalosporins or penicillin. 2. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to trimethoprim. 3. It is contraindicated for newborns and premature infants. 4. It is contraindicated for patients with severe liver and kidney diseases. 5. It is contraindicated for patients with blood diseases.
