Function and Efficacy
Ceftezole sodium is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin derivative, and its mechanism of action is to exert antibacterial activity by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Ceftezole sodium has antibacterial activity against the following bacteria: 1. Aerobic Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes. 2. Aerobic Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus.
Ingredients

Appearance
This product is white to light yellow crystalline powder, odorless and hygroscopic.
Indication
Respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, sepsis, peritonitis.
Usage and Dosage
Adults take 0.5g to 2g (2 to 8 vials) at a time, twice a day, intravenously or intramuscularly. For severe infections, the dose can be appropriately increased as prescribed by the doctor. Preparation of injection: 1. Intravenous injection: Dissolve in water for injection, normal saline or 5% glucose injection, and inject slowly. 2. Intravenous drip: Dissolve in normal saline or 5% glucose injection. 3. Intramuscular injection: Dissolve in 0.5% lidocaine hydrochloride injection. If the injection becomes turbid due to temperature reasons when it is dissolved, it can be heated to clarify it before use. It is best to use it immediately after dissolution. If it needs to be stored, it should be stored in a cool place (below 15°C) to prevent precipitation, but it must be used within 72 hours.
Adverse Reactions
1. Shock: Shock rarely occurs, and close observation is required. If any symptoms related to the use of this product occur, such as discomfort, abnormal sensation in the mouth, asthma, dizziness, sudden abnormal bowel movements, tinnitus, sweating, etc., the drug should be stopped immediately and necessary treatment should be given. 2. A few have allergic reactions, such as rash, urticaria, skin redness, itching, fever, etc., which disappear when the drug is stopped. 3. Severe renal function abnormalities are rare, and blood creatinine is occasionally increased. If abnormalities are found, the drug should be stopped immediately and necessary treatment should be given. 4. Granulocytopenia, leukopenia, eosinophilia, thrombocytopenia, etc. are rare. When the above abnormalities are found, the drug should be stopped. 5. Increased GOT, GPT, and alkaline phosphatase are rare. When the above abnormalities occur, the drug should be stopped immediately. 6. Gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. are rare, and pseudomembranous colitis is rare. When abdominal pain and diarrhea occur, the drug should be stopped immediately. 7. Dysbacteriosis: Candida infection is rare. 8. Vitamin deficiency: Vitamin K deficiency and B vitamin deficiency are rare. 9. Interstitial pneumonia, toxic fever, cough, dyspnea, abnormal chest X-ray, eosinophilia are rare. When the above symptoms occur, the drug should be stopped and appropriate treatment should be given. 10. Others: Headache, general malaise, fever, superficial glossitis are rare.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to this product or other cephalosporin antibiotics are contraindicated. 2. Patients who have a history of allergy to lidocaine or acylanilide local anesthetics are contraindicated from intramuscular injection of this product.
