Appearance
This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the film coating.
Indication
Sertraline is used to treat symptoms related to depression, including depression with anxiety, with or without a history of mania. After satisfactory treatment, continued use of sertraline can effectively prevent the recurrence and recurrence of depression. Sertraline is also used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder. After the initial treatment responds, sertraline maintains its effectiveness, safety and tolerability in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder for two years.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: For depression, 50 mg once a day, the therapeutic dose range is 50-100 mg a day; for obsessive-compulsive disorder, the initial dose is 50 mg once a day, gradually increasing to 100-200 mg a day, taken orally in divided doses.
Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal discomfort may occur, such as nausea, anorexia, diarrhea, etc. Headache, restlessness, weakness, drowsiness, insomnia, dizziness or tremor may also occur. Rare adverse reactions include allergic rash and sexual dysfunction. Large doses may induce epilepsy. Sudden discontinuation of the drug may cause withdrawal syndrome, such as insomnia, anxiety, nausea, sweating, tremor, dizziness or abnormal sensation.

Drug Interactions
1. This product may cause severe reactions when used in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors. This drug cannot be taken within 14 days of discontinuing monoamine oxidase inhibitors; it also takes more than 14 days after discontinuing this product to start monoamine oxidase inhibitor treatment. 2. When this product is used in combination with tryptophan or fenfluramine, it can increase the reuptake of 5-hydroxytryptamine by the central nervous system, resulting in pharmacodynamic interactions. 3. Do not drink alcohol during sertraline treatment. 4. This product can reduce the clearance of sertraline when used in combination with cimetidine. 5. This product can prolong the prothrombin time when used in combination with warfarin. 6. When this product is used in combination with lithium salts, there may be pharmacodynamic interactions and it should be used with caution.
