Function and Efficacy
Shengxue Tiaoyuan Decoction contains a variety of Chinese medicinal ingredients, including Astragalus, Millettia reticulata, Drynaria fortunei, Polygonum multiflorum, Codonopsis pilosula, Citron, Ligustrum lucidum, and Malt. Astragalus is used for Qi deficiency and fatigue, poor appetite and loose stools, sinking of the middle Qi, chronic diarrhea and prolapse of the anus, bloody stool and metrorrhagia, spontaneous sweating due to superficial deficiency, Qi deficiency and edema, carbuncle that is difficult to ulcerate, long-term ulceration that does not heal, blood deficiency and jaundice, internal heat and thirst; chronic nephritis proteinuria, and diabetes. Millettia reticulata has the effects of promoting Qi, supporting wind, and activating blood circulation; it has the function of relaxing muscles and activating blood circulation. Polygonum multiflorum has the effects of nourishing the liver and kidney, benefiting essence and blood, blackening hair, and strengthening tendons and bones. It is mainly used to treat deficiency of essence and blood, dizziness, premature graying of hair, sore waist and weak feet, spermatorrhea, and metrorrhagia. This product has the functions of nourishing Qi and blood, nourishing the kidney and strengthening the spleen.
