Alprazolam tablets

The main ingredient of this product is alprazolam, and its chemical name is: 1-methyl-6-phenyl-8-chloro-4H-〔1,2,4〕triazolo[4,3-α][1,4]benzodiazepine.

This product is in the form of tablets.

Common dosage for adults: Anti-anxiety, start with 0.4 mg once. 3 times a day, the dosage increases as needed. The maximum daily limit can reach 4 mg. Sedative hypnosis: 0.4-0.8 mg, taken before bedtime. Anti-panic 0.4 mg, 3 times a day, the dosage increases as needed, the maximum daily dosage can reach 10 mg. The dosage for children under 18 years old has not yet been determined.

1. Common adverse reactions include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, etc. At high doses, ataxia, tremor, urinary retention, and jaundice may occur occasionally. 2. Rare adverse reactions include rash, photosensitivity, and leukocytopenia. 3. Some patients may experience excitement, polyphagia, sleep disorders, and even hallucinations. After discontinuation of the drug, the above symptoms disappear quickly. 4. It is addictive. After long-term use, withdrawal symptoms may occur after discontinuation of the drug, manifested as agitation or depression. 5. A small number of patients experience dry mouth, lack of concentration, sweating, palpitations, constipation or diarrhea, blurred vision, and hypotension.

Use with caution: 1. Acute alcohol poisoning with central nervous system in a suppressed state. 2. Damage to liver and kidney function. 3. Myasthenia gravis. 4. Acute or prone to angle-closure glaucoma. 5. Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 6. Drivers, high-altitude workers, and dangerous and delicate workers.

1. When used in combination with central nervous system depressants, the respiratory depressant effect may be increased. 2. When used in combination with addictive and other potentially addictive drugs, the risk of addiction increases. 3. When used in combination with alcohol, general anesthetics, clonidine, analgesics, phenothiazines, monoamine oxidase type A inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants, they may enhance each other's effects and the dosage should be adjusted. 4. When used in combination with antihypertensive drugs and diuretic antihypertensive drugs, the antihypertensive effect may be enhanced. 5. When used in combination with cimetidine and propranolol, the clearance of this drug is slowed down and the plasma half-life is prolonged. 6. When used in combination with primidone, the dosage of primidone needs to be adjusted due to the slowing of the latter's metabolism. 7. When used in combination with levodopa, the efficacy of the latter may be reduced.
