This product is a glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, anti-toxic and anti-shock effects.
Ingredients
Hydrocortisone acetate, its chemical name is: 11β, 17α, 21-trihydroxypregnane-4-ene-3, 20-dione-21-acetate.

Appearance
This product is a suspension of fine particles. The fine particles sink after standing and become a uniform milky white suspension after shaking.
Indication
It is used for adrenal insufficiency and hypopituitarism, allergic and inflammatory diseases, and rescue of critical toxic infections.
Usage and Dosage
Intramuscular injection: 20~40mg per day, intravenous drip: 100mg once a day. Before use, dilute with 25 times sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection 500ml and then drip intravenously, and add 0.5~1g of vitamin C at the same time.
Adverse Reactions
Long-term and excessive use of glucocorticoids can produce a series of adverse reactions: 1. Iatrogenic adrenocortical insufficiency: manifested as moon face, centripetal obesity, hypercholesterolemia, hyperglycemia, diabetes, muscle atrophy and weakness, osteoporosis, hirsutism, acne, susceptibility to infection, hypokalemia, edema and hypertension, etc. Generally, no special treatment is required. Symptomatic treatment measures should be added when necessary. 2. Iatrogenic adrenocortical insufficiency: mainly occurs during the withdrawal process of long-term glucocorticoid treatment. Intermittent use of hormones and attention to discontinuation measures may avoid such adverse reactions. 3. Induce or aggravate infection: Long-term use can reduce the body's immune function and often induce secondary infection.
Precautions
Active peptic ulcer, severe hypertension, mental illness, diabetes, osteoporosis, glaucoma, Cushing's syndrome, chickenpox, measles, fungal infection, etc.
Drug Interactions
1. The combined use of this product with barbiturates, antiepileptic drugs, aminoglycosides, and rifampicin may reduce the effect of this product. 2. The combined use of this product with potassium-excreting diuretics may promote potassium excretion, and potassium supplementation should be noted. 3. The combined use of this product with anticoagulants may reduce the effect of the latter. 4. The combined use of this product with salicylates may easily cause peptic ulcers. 5. This product may increase blood sugar and weaken the effect of hypoglycemic drugs or insulin.
