Appearance

The content of this product is off-white to slightly yellow powder.

Indication

This product is mainly suitable for respiratory system, urinary system, ENT, skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.

Usage and Dosage

This product is suitable for oral administration on an empty stomach. The usual dosage for adults is 0.25g once, 3 times a day. In case of severe infection, the dosage can be doubled, but the total daily dosage should not exceed 4g, or follow the doctor's advice. Children are generally given 20mg/kg per day according to body weight, divided into 3 times. In severe infection, the dosage can be increased to 40mg/kg, but the total daily dosage should not exceed 1g.

Adverse Reactions

1. Common gastrointestinal reactions: soft stools, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, heating, etc. 2. Serum sickness-like reactions are more common than other antibiotics, especially in children, with typical symptoms including skin reactions and joint pain. 3. Allergic reactions: rash, urticaria, eosinophilia, vulvar itching, etc. 4. Others: mild increase in serum aminotransferase, urea nitrogen and creatinine, proteinuria, tubular urine, etc.

Precautions

Patients who are allergic to cefaclor and other cephalosporins are contraindicated.

Drug Interactions

1. Furosemide, ethacrynic acid, bumetanide and other strong diuretics, carmustine, streptozocin and other antineoplastic drugs and aminoglycoside antibiotics and other nephrotoxic drugs combined with this product may increase nephrotoxicity. 2. Clavulanic acid can enhance the antibacterial activity of this product against certain Gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to this product due to the production of β-lactamase. 3. Oral administration of probenecid can delay the excretion of this product.
