Clotrimazole vaginal effervescent tablets

This product is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug with good antibacterial effect on many fungi, especially Candida albicans. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membranes and affect their metabolic process.

Each tablet of this product contains 150 mg of clotrimazole, and the excipients are sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium hydroxymethyl starch, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and magnesium stearate.

This product is white or off-white tablets with slight hidden spots on the surface.

Used for candidal vulvovaginal disease.

Vaginal administration: Take 1 tablet every night before going to bed and insert it deep into the vagina. A course of treatment is 10 days.

Local irritation such as itching or burning may occur occasionally.

This product is slightly absorbed when used, but there is a lack of experimental data on whether it is secreted into breast milk, so lactating women should use it with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients may have a dry vagina, which may affect the efficacy of this product.
