The dosage is usually 2-4g per day. 7. Oral Surgery: The total effective rate for perimandibular cellulitis and jaw inflammation caused by Peptostreptococcus is 83.896 (119/142). In addition, for refractory or severe infections, the daily dose can be increased to 4 grams (titer) for adults and 150 mg (titer)/kg body weight for children according to symptoms, and administered in 2-4 doses. For intravenous injection, 1 gram (titer) of this agent is dissolved in 10 ml of sterile water for injection, normal saline or glucose injection, and injected slowly. In addition, this agent can be added to the rehydration for intravenous drip. When dissolving the intravenous drip agent (100 ml bottle), do not use distilled water for injection (because the solution is not isotonic).
