Terbinafine hydrochloride gel

This product is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug that can highly selectively inhibit fungal squalene epoxidase, blocking the squalene epoxidation reaction during the formation of fungal cell membranes and interfering with the early biosynthesis of fungal sterols, thereby inhibiting and killing fungi.

10 grams of this product contains 0.1 grams of terbinafine hydrochloride. The excipients are 0.15 grams of carbomer, 3 grams of ethanol, 2 grams of propylene glycol, 1 gram of polyethylene glycol-400, 0.01 grams of disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, 0.3 grams of polysorbate-800, and 0.0043 grams of triethanolamine.

This product is a colorless transparent gel.

Used for tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea versicolor and skin candidiasis.

For topical use. Apply an appropriate amount of this product to the affected area and its surrounding area twice a day. Use it for 2-4 weeks for tinea corporis and tinea cruris; for 4-6 weeks for tinea manuum, pedis and tinea versicolor.

A small number of patients may experience transient burning sensation, irritation, dryness and other local irritation reactions. Occasionally, allergic reactions such as erythema and itching may occur.

Patients who are allergic to terbinafine hydrochloride or naftifine hydrochloride are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women should use with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Follow doctor's advice.
