1 Pharmacological effects According to literature reports: 1) It has good transport into intracellular organelles in nerve cells and promotes the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. Compared with cyanocobalamin, it has good transport into intracellular organelles in nerve cells (rat). It plays a coenzyme role in the synthesis of methionine from homocysteine. In experiments on cells of brain origin and spinal cord nerve cells, it is particularly involved in the process of synthesizing thymine from deoxynucleotides and promotes the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins (rat). 2) Promotes intra-axonal transport and axonal regeneration. In sciatic nerve cells of rats with diabetes induced by streptozotocin, it can normalize the transport of axonal structural proteins. It has no effect on adriamycin, acrylamide, and vincristine.

The main ingredient of this product is methylcobalamin, and its chemical name is: Coα-[α-(5,6-dimethylbenzimidazolyl)]-Coβ-methylcobaltamide.

This product is a pink loose mass or amorphous solid.

1. Used for peripheral neuropathy. 2. Treatment of megaloblastic anemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency.

1. For adults with peripheral neuropathy, take 0.5 mg once a day, 3 times a week, intramuscularly or intravenously. The dosage can be increased or decreased according to age and symptoms. 2. For adults with megaloblastic anemia, take 0.5 mg once a day, 3 times a week, intramuscularly or intravenously. After about two months of administration, 0.7 mg can be given every 1 to 3 months as a maintenance treatment.

1 Serious adverse reactions (frequency unknown) Allergic reactions: May cause allergic reactions such as decreased blood pressure and difficulty breathing. Patients should be closely observed. If such reactions occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately and appropriate measures should be taken. 2 Other adverse reactions (1) Allergic reactions: Rash occurs ((2) Others: Headache, fever (<0.1%): Sweating, pain at the intramuscular injection site, nodules (frequency unknown). If these adverse reactions occur, the medication should be discontinued.

Precautions for children: There is a lack of safety research data for the use of this product in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Although methylcobalamin has not been found to cause teratogenicity in animal experiments, its safety for pregnant women is still unclear. It is not clear whether methylcobalamin is secreted through women's breast milk, but animal experiments report that methylcobalamin is secreted into breast milk. Precautions for the elderly: Due to the decline in function of the elderly, it is recommended to take appropriate measures to reduce the dosage under the guidance of a doctor.
