Ambroxol Hydrochloride Syrup

Function and Efficacy

This product has the characteristics of promoting mucus elimination and dissolving secretions. It can promote the elimination of viscous secretions in the respiratory tract and reduce mucus retention, thereby significantly promoting expectoration and improving respiratory conditions. When treated with this product, the patient's mucus secretion can return to normal. Cough and sputum volume are usually significantly reduced, and the surfactant of the respiratory mucosa can thus play its normal protective function. Since this drug has good tolerance, it can be used for a long time. The toxicity index of ambroxol in acute toxicity tests is very low. Ambroxol is not mutagenic (Ames and micronucleus tests). Carcinogenicity studies on mice and rats have shown that ambroxol is not carcinogenic.
