Anastrozole tablets

This product is a potent, selective non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It can inhibit the conversion of androstenedione produced in the adrenal glands of postmenopausal patients into estrone, thereby significantly reducing plasma estrogen levels and inhibiting breast tumor growth. In addition, this product has no significant effect on the production of adrenal cortical steroids or aldosterone.

Anastrozole.

This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the coating.

It is suitable for postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer that cannot be controlled by tamoxifen and other anti-estrogen therapies. For patients with negative estrogen receptors, if they show a positive clinical response to tamoxifen, this product can be considered.

Take orally once a day, 1 tablet (1 mg) each time. Generally, no dosage adjustment is required for patients with mild liver function or mild to moderate renal function impairment.

The main side effects of this product include skin flushing, vaginal dryness, excessive hair oil secretion, gastrointestinal dysfunction (anorexia, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea), fatigue, depression, headache or rash. Side effects are usually mild or moderate and easily tolerated by patients. Uterine bleeding is occasionally reported, mainly in the first few weeks after patients switch from existing hormone therapy to this product. If bleeding persists, further evaluation is required. There are reports of changes in liver function (such as increased transpeptidase and alkaline phosphatase) in patients with advanced breast cancer who use this product, but many of these patients already have liver or bone metastases. Research on the cause of these changes has not yet been conducted. Clinical observations show that this product can slightly increase plasma total cholesterol levels.

This product is contraindicated in the following situations: 1. Premenopausal women. 2. Pregnant or lactating women. 3. Patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <20 ml/min). 4. Patients with moderate to severe liver impairment. 5. Patients with known allergies to anastrozole and its preparation excipients.

Precautions for children: The safety and efficacy of anastrozole tablets have not been tested in children, so this drug is not used in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product is contraindicated for use in pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Use the same medication as for adults.

The study of clinical drug interactions between antispirin and cypermethrin has shown that when this product is used in combination with other drugs, it is not easy to cause drug reactions mediated by cytochrome P-450. Clinical trials have not found significant interactions between this product and other commonly used clinical drugs. There is no evidence to show whether this product should be used in combination with other anti-tumor drugs. Therapies containing estrogen can reduce the efficacy of this product, so it is not suitable to be used in combination with this product.
