Indication

1. Treat hypokalemia caused by various reasons. 2. Prevent hypokalemia, especially when hypokalemia is harmful to patients. 3. Treat rapid arrhythmias such as paroxysmal tachycardia or frequent ventricular premature beats caused by digitalis poisoning, but this product should not be used when there is conduction block.

Usage and Dosage

Slow intravenous drip, generally 1-1.5g each time (equivalent to 2 to 3 bottles), the daily dosage depends on the condition.

Adverse Reactions

1. When intravenous drip is used, if a small vein is used, it is easy to cause irritation and venous pain. 2. If the intravenous drip is too fast, symptoms of hyperkalemia may occur. If serious adverse reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued in time, the patient should be diagnosed and evaluated, and necessary treatment measures should be taken.

Precautions

This product is contraindicated in: 1. Hyperkalemia; 2. Oliguria in acute renal failure; 3. Oliguria or anuria in chronic renal failure.

Drug Interactions

(1) Adrenal glucocorticoids, especially those with more obvious mineralocorticoid effects, adrenal mineralocorticoids and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), can promote urinary potassium excretion, and when used together, the efficacy of potassium salts is reduced. (2) When stored blood (30mmol/L of potassium for less than 10 days of storage, 65mmol/L of potassium for more than 10 days of storage), potassium-containing drugs and potassium-sparing diuretics are used together, the chance of hyperkalemia increases, especially in patients with renal damage. (3) Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and cyclosporine A can inhibit aldosterone secretion and reduce urinary potassium excretion, so hyperkalemia is likely to occur when used together. (4) Heparin can inhibit the synthesis of aldosterone and reduce urinary potassium excretion, so hyperkalemia is likely to occur when used together. In addition, the chance of gastrointestinal bleeding increases.

Storage

Keep tightly closed.
