Function and Efficacy
This product is a lymphokine that can proliferate cytotoxic T cells, natural killer cells and lymphokine-activated killer cells and enhance their killing activity. It can also promote lymphocytes to secrete antibodies and interferons, and has anti-viral, anti-tumor and immune enhancement effects. Long-term toxicity tests on animals have shown that no abnormalities were found in blood picture, blood and urine biochemical tests, circulatory system examinations, and pathological histological examinations.

Appearance
This product is a white, thin, loose shell, easily soluble in water. After dissolution, it becomes a transparent liquid with no insoluble matter visible to the naked eye.
Indication
1. It is used for the treatment of malignant tumors such as renal cell carcinoma, melanoma, breast cancer, bladder cancer, liver cancer, rectal cancer, lymphoma, lung cancer, etc. It is used for the control of cancerous pleural effusion and ascites, and can also be used for the cultivation of lymphokine-activated killer cells. 2. It is used for the treatment of tumor patients after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to enhance the body's immune function. 3. It is used for the treatment of congenital or acquired immunodeficiency to improve the patient's cellular immune function and anti-infection ability. 4. The treatment of various autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, etc. 5. It has a certain therapeutic effect on certain viral, bacillary diseases, and intracellular parasitic infectious diseases, such as hepatitis B, leprosy, tuberculosis, and Candida albicans infection.
Usage and Dosage
This product should be used under the guidance of a clinical physician. Dissolve it with sterile water for injection before injection. The specific usage, dosage and course of treatment vary according to the disease. Generally, the following methods are used: 1 Systemic administration: subcutaneous or intramuscular injection: recombinant human interleukin-2.5 to 1 million IU/m2, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection 2 to 3 times/week, 4 to 6 weeks as a course of treatment. 2 Regional and local administration (1) Thoracic and abdominal cavity injection: for cancerous pleural and abdominal effusion, recombinant human interleukin-2.3 to 1 million IU/m2/time, try to remove the effusion in the cavity and then inject, 1 to 2 times/week, 2 to 4 weeks (or the effusion disappears) as a course of treatment. (2) Local administration to tumor lesions: limited to research and observation by oncologists.
Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions are fever and chills, which are related to the dosage. Generally, it is a transient fever (about 38°C), and there may also be chills and high fever. The body temperature can return to normal 3 to 4 hours after stopping the drug. Some patients may experience nausea, vomiting, and cold-like symptoms. Subcutaneous injections may cause local redness, swelling, nodules, and pain. All side effects can recover on their own after stopping the drug. When used in larger doses, this product may cause capillary leak syndrome, which manifests as hypotension, peripheral edema, temporary renal insufficiency, etc. The safe dosage should be strictly controlled when using this product, and symptomatic treatment can be given if the above reactions occur.
Precautions
1. Patients with a history of allergy to the ingredients of this product. 2. Patients with high fever, severe heart disease, hypotension, severe heart and kidney dysfunction, abnormal lung function or those who have undergone organ transplantation. 3. Recombinant human interleukin-2 has had toxic reactions related to it in the past: (1) Sustained ventricular tachycardia; (2) Uncontrolled arrhythmia; (3) Chest pain accompanied by electrocardiogram changes, angina pectoris or myocardial infarction; (4) Cardiac tamponade; (5) Renal failure requiring dialysis for more than 72 hours; (6) Coma or toxic psychosis for more than 48 hours; (7) Intractable or intractable epilepsy; (8) Local intestinal ischemia or perforation; (9) Gastrointestinal bleeding requiring surgical operation; (10) Use with caution in pregnant women.
