Long-term toxicity tests showed that rats were given 1.2, 3.0, and 7.5 g/kg of this product by oral gavage for 6 consecutive months, followed by a 1-month recovery period. The test results showed that the 7.5 g/kg group had a reduced food intake and slightly inhibited body weight gain in the later period of administration. The serum alanine aminotransferase level was significantly increased after 6 months of administration, and the above abnormalities recovered during the recovery period.
