Chlorhexidine acetate hemorrhoid suppository

This product is a biguanide compound, which plays a bactericidal role by changing the permeability of bacterial cytoplasmic membrane to allow cell contents to leak out. Some Staphylococci, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus salivarius, Escherichia coli, Propionibacterium and Candida albicans are sensitive to this product; Streptococcus haemophilus is moderately sensitive; this product has a weak effect on Proteus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella and Gram-negative cocci.

The main ingredient of this product is chlorhexidine acetate, its chemical name is: 1,6-bis(N1-p-chlorophenyl-N5-biguanidino)hexane diacetate and its structural formula is: Molecular formula: C22H30Cl2N102C2H4O2 Molecular weight: 625.56.

This product is a milky white suppository.

Used for disinfection and infection prevention of anorectal diseases such as internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, and before and after surgery.

Rectal administration. 20 mg at a time, 1 to 2 times a day. Wash your hands and anus before use, tear open the plastic sheet from the notch at the bottom, take a plastic fingertip, put it on your index finger, take out the suppository, hold the bottom of the suppository, and gently insert it into the anus.

Skin allergy or contact dermatitis may occur occasionally.

Contraindicated in patients allergic to chlorhexidine.
