Function and Efficacy
This product is a pyrimidine antimetabolite antitumor drug. It mainly inhibits dihydrofolate reductase, interferes with folic acid metabolism, and selectively inhibits the synthesis of DNA, RNA and protein. It is a cell cycle-specific drug and has no cross-resistance with alkylating agents.
Ingredients

Appearance
This product is enteric-coated tablets, which appear white after removing the coating.
Indication
Used for combined chemotherapy of ovarian cancer, small cell lung cancer, malignant lymphoma, breast cancer, and bone marrow cancer.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. 1. Single oral administration: 150-300 mg/m2 per day according to body surface area, divided into 3-4 times orally or taken before bedtime, 14-21 days as a course of treatment, rest for 2-3 weeks before the next course of treatment. 2. Combined oral administration: 100-200 mg/m2 per day according to body surface area, divided into 3 times orally or taken before bedtime, 14 days as a course of treatment, rest for 1 week.
Adverse Reactions
1. Severe nausea and vomiting are dose-limiting toxicities. Myelosuppression is mild to moderate, with a prominent leukocytopenia, which usually occurs one week after treatment and reaches the lowest point in 3 to 4 weeks. 2. Central or peripheral nerve toxicity occurs after long-term use and is a dose-limiting toxicity that can be alleviated or disappear after stopping the drug for 4 to 5 months. 3. Occasionally, there may be hair loss, cystitis, rash, itching, weight loss, etc.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product. 2. It is contraindicated for patients with severe bone marrow suppression and neurotoxicity.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women should use this product with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients over 65 years old should reduce the dosage as appropriate.
Drug Interactions
Combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and antidepressants can cause severe orthostatic hypotension and should be used with caution. Combination with metoclopramide can cause dystonia. Simultaneous use with vitamin B6 may reduce peripheral neurotoxicity.
