Puerarin Glucose Injection
Function and Efficacy
This product is a flavonoid glycoside extracted from the root of Pueraria lobata or Pueraria lobata in the Leguminosae family. Animal experiments have shown that (1) Effects on smooth muscle Various total flavonoid compounds in Pueraria lobata have the effect of relaxing smooth muscle, while the contractile components may be substances such as choline, acetylcholine and carbazine R. (2) Effects on body temperature Artificial fever was induced by intravenous injection of expired typhoid vaccine into rabbit ears. After oral administration of 20% Pueraria lobata decoction or 20% ethanol infusion, the body temperature decreased, and the effect of the infusion was particularly obvious. (3) Effects on the cardiovascular system Pueraria lobata has a certain antihypertensive effect on normal and hypertensive animals. Pueraria lobata total flavonoids and puerarin have a significant effect of dilating coronary arteries, and can dilate normal and spastic coronary arteries. After intravenous injection of 30 mg/kg, coronary blood flow can increase by 40% and vascular resistance can decrease by 29%. Puerarin can also inhibit thrombin-induced 5-HT release from platelets. Toxicological effects The LD50 (mice) of Pueraria root wine extract, water-soluble extract, total flavonoids and cassain R by intravenous injection are 2.1±1.0, 1.044, 1.6~2.1 and 0.0375g/kg, respectively. Intravenous injection of 1g/kg puerarin does not cause death in mice, and intraperitoneal injection of 0.8g/kg daidzein in mice has no symptoms of poisoning. Mice were orally administered with 10 and 20g/kg of wine extract every day for 3 days, or 1 and 5g/kg of daidzein once, and no symptoms of poisoning were observed. Oral administration of 1g/kg of wine extract or 25mg, 50mg and 100mg/kg of daidzein every day for 2 months, and oral administration of 2g/kg of wine extract every day for 14 days, or 25 and 50mg/kg of daidzein for 2 months in dogs, did not affect the behavior of the animals, and there were no changes in blood routine, liver and kidney function, and solid organs such as heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney.
