Nonoxynol ether membrane

This product is a non-ionic surfactant that reduces the surface tension of the sperm lipid membrane, changes the sperm osmotic pressure, kills the sperm or makes them unable to swim, making it difficult to penetrate the cervix and unable to fertilize the egg, thus achieving the contraceptive effect.

Nonoxynol 50g Polyvinyl alcohol 130g Auxiliary materials

This product is an off-white or slightly yellow translucent film, which is easily soluble in water.

Short-acting contraceptive for female use.

Intravaginal medication. 10 minutes before sexual intercourse, take a piece of the film, fold it twice or knead it into a soft ball, and push it deep into the vagina with the index finger (or middle finger) wearing a fingertip. Sexual intercourse can be performed after 10 minutes. The maximum dosage is no more than 2 pieces each time.

(1) Occasionally, allergic reactions may cause severe irritation symptoms in the female vulva or vagina, or even in the male penis, such as local itching and pain. (2) A small number of patients may experience mild local irritation symptoms and increased vaginal discharge.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product, or those who are suspected of having malignant tumors in the reproductive tract, or those who have irregular vaginal bleeding.

Precautions for children: Do not use. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not clear. Precautions for the elderly: Do not use.

If you are using other medicines, especially oral contraceptives, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
