GABA Sodium Chloride Injection
Function and Efficacy
Large doses may cause movement disorders, muscle weakness, decreased blood pressure, and respiratory depression.
Indication
It is used for auxiliary treatment of sequelae of stroke, cerebral arteriosclerosis, sequelae of head trauma and coma caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, and can also be used for various types of hepatic coma.
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip. 1. For stroke sequelae, 0.5-1.0g at a time, add to 250-500ml normal saline, slowly drip. 2. For adjuvant treatment of hepatic coma, 1-4g at a time (1-4 vials), dilute with 250-500ml of 5%-10% glucose injection and drip within 2-3 hours.
Drug Interactions
1. Burning sensation, nausea, dizziness, insomnia, and gastrointestinal dysfunction may occur occasionally after taking the drug. 2. Muscle weakness, movement disorders, decreased blood pressure, and respiratory depression may occur when taking large doses.
Storage
Keep away from light and store in sealed container.
