Mepivacaine hydrochloride
Indication
Used for local infiltration anesthesia (nerve block type) in oral and dental treatments.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to amino anesthetics or similar drugs; 2. It is contraindicated for those who suffer from the following cardiovascular diseases: hypertension, arrhythmia, coronary artery or rheumatic heart disease and other valvular heart diseases; 3. It is contraindicated for patients taking compound tricyclic antidepressants and undergoing monoamine oxidase treatment; 4. It is strictly prohibited for children under 3 years old; 5. It should be used with caution in pregnant and lactating women.
