Indication
Calcium supplement. Used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency diseases such as osteoporosis, tetany, bone dysplasia, rickets, and calcium supplement for pregnant and lactating women and menopausal women.
Usage and Dosage
Oral. For calcium supplementation, adults take 2 capsules at a time, 1 to 2 times a day. When used to neutralize gastric acid, please consult a physician for usage and dosage.
Adverse Reactions
Belching, constipation, and abdominal discomfort may occur. Taking large doses may cause hypercalcemia: manifested as anorexia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, arrhythmia, and bone lime deposition.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, calcium-containing kidney stones, or a history of kidney stones.
