Glycerin enema

This product is a lubricating laxative. It is not absorbed after being injected into the rectum, but can lubricate and stimulate the intestinal wall, soften the stool, and make it easier to excrete.

This product contains 42.7g of glycerol (1,2,3-propanetriol) per 100g.

This product is a colorless solution.

Used for cleansing enemas or constipation.

Injection into the liver portal. For constipation, use 60 ml at a time, and reduce the dosage for children. For cleansing enema, use 110 ml at a time, and repeat 2 to 3 times. Remove the cap, let a small amount of liquid flow out to moisten the tube mouth, insert the tube into the liver portal in the patient's side-lying position (3 to 7 cm for children and 6 to 10 cm for adults), squeeze the container hard, and slowly inject the liquid into the rectum. After the injection, slowly pull out the injection tube, and then press the liver portal with a clean cotton ball for 1 to 2 minutes. Usually, defecation can be done in 5 to 15 minutes.
