Peppermint eucalyptus oil tablets (Ⅱ)

Pharmacodynamic tests show that this product has antibacterial effects in vitro against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus albus, Streptococcus A, Streptococcus B, Catarrhalis, Enterococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Candida albicans, etc. The main component of this product, menthol (menthol), LD50: 5000-6000 mg/kg for subcutaneous injection in mice; 1000 mg/kg for subcutaneous injection in rats, 800-1000 mg/kg for oral or intraperitoneal injection of suspension in cats. When racemic menthol 7500ppm or 4000ppm is added to the feed of rats or mice, no carcinogenic effect is found after 103 weeks of feeding.

This product is a compound preparation, each tablet contains 0.7μl of peppermint oil, 0.8μl of eucalyptus oil, 1mg of menthol, and sugar.

This product is light yellow or orange-yellow tablets with a special odor of peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil.

Used as an adjuvant treatment for pharyngitis and tonsillitis.

Oral administration. 1-2 tablets at a time. Oral administration when throat discomfort occurs.

Allergic reactions such as asthma, urticaria and angioedema may occasionally occur.

Not suitable for patients with diabetes.
