Function and Efficacy
This product is used to supplement the energy and nutrients required for the body's daily physiological functions.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, whose components are whey protein hydrolysate (short peptides, accounting for 18% of total energy), medium chain triglycerides (MCT, accounting for 51% of total fat), fish oil, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, etc. The auxiliary materials are mono- and di-glycerides, microcrystalline cellulose-sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and purified water.

Appearance
This product is a light grey-brown to grey-brown milky liquid. This product should be a uniform liquid with a thin layer of closed milk skin and a bottom sediment thickness of no more than 2mm.
Indication
This product is suitable for enteral nutrition of patients who cannot tolerate macromolecular nutrients due to severe impairment of digestion and/or absorption function (e.g. imperfect gastrointestinal structure or function). For example: short bowel syndrome, pancreatic insufficiency, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, chemotherapy/radiation-induced enteritis, patients who have undergone long-term parenteral nutrition
Usage and Dosage
The daily dosage of this product should be calculated according to the patient's weight and nutritional status, and should be able to fully meet the patient's nutritional needs. This product can be used as a complete enteral nutrition or supplementary nutrition preparation. 1. Complete enteral nutrition: The recommended daily dose is not less than 1500ml. 2. Supplementary nutrition: The daily dose is determined by the physician. When administering drugs by continuous tube feeding, the dose should be gradually increased. The initial administration rate should be 20ml/hour, and then increase by 20ml/hour daily according to the patient's intestinal tolerance and target dose. The maximum administration rate is 100ml/hour. It is recommended to use an enteral nutrition infusion pump for tube feeding. When using the infusion pump mode, the recommended tube diameter is not less than CH/FR5; when using the gravity mode, the recommended tube diameter is not less than CH/FR8. For patients with gastroparesis, it is recommended to use a jejunal tube.
Adverse Reactions
If the drug is administered too quickly or in excessive amounts, gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea may occur.
Precautions
1. Those who are allergic to any ingredient in this product. 2. Patients with contraindications to enteral nutrition, such as acute gastrointestinal bleeding, intestinal relaxation, intestinal obstruction, etc. 3. Patients with congenital metabolic disorders to the nutrients in this product. 4. The doctor shall determine whether to stop enteral nutrition according to the severity of the following symptoms: abdominal distension, abdominal pain, spasm, reflux, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal fistula, paralytic intestinal obstruction. 5. Children under 3 years old.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: This product is formulated according to the nutritional requirements of adults and is mainly used for adult patients. There is less clinical experience in the use of children. This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women in the first three months of pregnancy and women of childbearing age should not take more than 10,000 IU of vitamin A per day. This factor should be considered when this product is used with other nutritional preparations containing vitamin A. Precautions for the elderly: Generally, the physiological functions of the elderly decline, so the dosage should be adjusted. Or follow the doctor's advice.
Drug Interactions
Before using this product in patients who are taking coumarin-based drugs for thromboprophylaxis, the vitamin K content of this product should be considered. Routine management of coagulation is recommended. When this product is used as the only source of nutrition, the minimum recommended daily dose of 1500ml provides 100mg of vitamin K. The drug should not be mixed with food during administration, as it may coagulate with protein or other nutrients and cause feeding tube blockage.
