Abidol Hydrochloride Granules
Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological action: This product is a drug for the prevention and treatment of influenza. It blocks the replication of the virus by inhibiting the fusion of the lipid membrane of the influenza virus with the host cells. In vitro cell culture tests directly inhibited the replication of influenza A and B viruses, and in vivo animal tests reduced the mortality of mice infected with influenza viruses. Toxicological studies: Long-term toxicity: This product was continuously administered by gavage, 100-125 mg/kg for 6 months in rats and 25 mg/kg for 6 months in dogs, and no obvious toxic reactions were observed. Reproductive toxicity: This product has no teratogenic effect on rats. Genetic toxicity: This product has no mutagenic effect after in vivo and in vitro tests.

Appearance
This product is white or off-white granules with flavoring agents, and tastes sweet and slightly bitter.
Indication
Used to prevent and treat influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults: 0.2g at a time, 3 times a day, for 5 days.
Adverse Reactions
The incidence of adverse events was approximately 6.2%, mainly manifested as nausea, diarrhea, dizziness and increased serum transaminases.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this medicine.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: In the Russian Federation, Abidol can be used to treat influenza in children over 2 years old. There is no relevant clinical research data for children in my country. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: The efficacy and safety of this product for pregnant and lactating women are not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: The safety of the drug for elderly people over 65 years old is not yet clear.
