Glucosamine Hydrochloride Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Osteoarthritis is the result of abnormal biosynthesis of proteoglycans in articular cartilage, which results in degeneration. Glucosamine is a natural amino monosaccharide that can stimulate chondrocytes to produce proteoglycans with normal polymer structures, inhibit enzymes that damage cartilage, such as collagenase and phospholipase A2, and prevent the production of superoxide free radicals that damage cells, thereby delaying or reversing the pathological process of osteoarthritis and the progression of the disease, improving joint mobility, and relieving pain.
