Proparacaine hydrochloride

Indication

It is suitable for mild and moderate infections caused by sensitive Staphylococci, Streptococci and Streptococcus pneumoniae, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, periodontitis, acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, non-gonococcal urethritis, skin and soft tissue infections. It can also be used for cryptosporidiosis or as an optional drug for the treatment of toxoplasmosis in pregnant women.

Precautions

1. Patients who are allergic to this product, erythromycin and other macrolides are contraindicated to use this product. 2. Since the hepatobiliary system is the main route of excretion of acetylspiramycin, this product should be used with caution in patients with severe liver dysfunction. 3. Patients with mild renal impairment do not need to make dosage adjustments, but there is a lack of data on the use of acetylspiramycin in patients with severe renal impairment, so it should be used with caution. 4. Pregnant and lactating women should use this product with caution.
