Appearance
White granules, sweet taste.
Indication
It is used for fever caused by the common cold or influenza, and is also used to relieve moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, neuralgia, and menstrual pain.
Usage and Dosage
The usual oral dose for adults is 0.5 g (acetaminophen) 3-4 times a day. The usual oral dose for children is 10-15 mg (acetaminophen) per kilogram of body weight 3-4 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, skin rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia may occur. Long-term and large-scale use of the drug may lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. 2. Patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction are prohibited from using it.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children under 3 years old should avoid using this product because of their underdeveloped liver and kidney functions. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product can pass through the placenta and be secreted in breast milk, so it is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Due to the decline of liver and kidney functions in elderly patients, the half-life of this product is prolonged and adverse reactions are prone to occur. It should be used with caution or in a reduced dosage.
Drug Interactions
1. Do not take this product with similar preparations containing this product and other antipyretic analgesics. 2. Do not take it with anticoagulants (such as dicoumarol, heparin). 3. Use this product with corticosteroids may increase gastrointestinal adverse reactions. 4. Do not take this product with chloramphenicol, barbiturates, and belladonna drugs. 5. If you are taking other medicines, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
