Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological action: Triamcinolone is a derivative of triamcinolone and is a potent glucocorticoid. It has a significant anti-allergic effect and can significantly reduce the nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis. The exact mechanism of glucocorticoid anti-allergic effect is still unclear. Toxicological study: Reproductive toxicity: When female and male rats were given oral triamcinolone at a dose of 15 μg/kg (calculated by body surface area, equivalent to 1/2 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults), there was no effect on the pregnancy rate; when the dose was equal to or greater than 5 μg/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/5 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults), the number of absorbed fetuses and stillbirths increased, and the weight and survival rate of the offspring decreased; when the dose was μg/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/30 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults), the above reaction was not observed. Inhalation of triamcinolone spray showed teratogenic effects on rats, rabbits, and monkeys. The teratogenic doses for the above animals are 20 μg/k9 for rats, 20 μg/k9 for rabbits, and 500 μg/kg for monkeys (calculated as above, equivalent to 7/10.2.37 times the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults, respectively). The dose-related teratogenicity shown in rats and rabbits is cleft palate, hydrocephalus and axial skeleton defects, while the teratogenicity shown in monkeys is skull deformity. There are no adequate and strictly controlled clinical studies on pregnant women. This product can only be used during pregnancy when the potential benefits to the fetus outweigh the potential harm. Carcinogenicity: When rats were given triamcinolone acetonide orally for 2 consecutive years at a dose of 1 μg/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/30 and 1/50 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults and children, respectively), and when rats were given triamcinolone acetonide orally for 2 consecutive years at a dose of 3 μg/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/12 and 1/30 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration for adults and children, respectively), no carcinogenicity was shown.

Indication
This product is suitable for the prevention and treatment of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children under 6 years old. Its main symptoms include nasal itching, nasal obstruction, runny nose, sneezing, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Intranasal spray treatment. Shake thoroughly before use to make it uniform. When used more than 120 times, the actual dosage per press will be less than 55μg, so the bottle should be discarded and the remaining liquid medicine should not be poured into other bottles for use. (See the attached figure for specific usage steps). 1. Adults and children over 12 years old: once a day, two presses in each nostril each time (220μg/day). The total daily dose does not exceed eight presses. 2. Children aged 6 to 12 years old: once a day, one press in each nostril each time (110μg/day). The maximum recommended daily dose is: once a day, two presses in each nostril each time (220μg/day). 3. Or follow the doctor's advice. 4. To achieve the best therapeutic effect, the medication should be used regularly. For some patients, symptoms will improve on the first day of treatment, but generally speaking, 1 week of treatment is required to achieve the maximum therapeutic effect.
Adverse Reactions
In clinical studies, as with other nasal inhalers, local adverse reactions associated with this product include occasional dryness or burning sensation in the nose and throat, sneezing or mild nose bleeding, headache, etc., but generally, it is not necessary to stop taking the drug. As the body adapts to this product, the above symptoms will disappear. As with other nasal sprays, nasal discharge may be yellow or green, with a peculiar smell, and there may be severe stinging or nose bleeding in the nose or throat. Please consult a doctor. There have been reports of patients with nasal septum perforation and increased intraocular pressure after nasal administration of corticosteroids, but these are extremely rare and usually seen in patients who have undergone nasal surgery.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to triamcinolone acetate.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children aged 6 to 12 years: once a day, one pinch per nostril each time (110 μg/day), the maximum recommended daily dose is: once a day, two pinches per nostril each time (220 μg/day). Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women. Or follow the doctor's advice. Precautions for the elderly: The dosage is the same as that for adults.
