Indication

Immunomodulator. This product is suitable for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C. Patients must be 18 years old or above and have compensated liver disease. It is now believed that the ideal treatment for chronic hepatitis C is to use this product in combination with ribavirin.

Usage and Dosage

1 When this product is used for a long time through the central vein, it should be used in combination with glucose (or fat emulsion), vitamins, electrolytes, trace elements and other injections to achieve the purpose of comprehensive nutritional support. 2 When this product is used through the peripheral vein, it can be diluted with an equal amount of 5% glucose injection and slowly dripped. 3 Infusion rate: When infusing through the peripheral vein, after diluting the liquid, it is generally appropriate to use 30~40 drops/minute; follow the doctor's advice for central vein infusion. 4 The infusion volume should be determined according to the patient's age, weight, nutritional status, and condition. Generally, adults take 250~1000 ml per day (calculated as 0.5g/kg~1.5g/kg based on amino acid content).

Adverse Reactions

If the infusion is too fast or too concentrated, it may cause adverse reactions such as vomiting, fever, headache, etc. Because it contains the antioxidant sodium metabisulfite, it may occasionally induce allergic reactions (especially in asthma patients).

Precautions

1 Liver function should be monitored during use. Use with caution when liver function is obviously abnormal; patients with severe liver and kidney damage should not use it. 2 The liquid medicine should be carefully checked before use. Do not use it if the liquid medicine is turbid, moldy, the bottle body and bottle mouth are broken, the seal is loose and leaking, etc. 3 The liquid medicine should be used up at one time, and the remaining liquid medicine should not be used again. 4 This product will precipitate crystals when it is cooled. It can be soaked in 40~50℃ warm water before use to dissolve it, and then put it to body temperature before use.
