Appearance
This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid.
Indication
It is mainly suitable for patients with protein deficiency in total parenteral nutrition and severe protein loss caused by various reasons such as surgery and burns.
Usage and Dosage
1 For peripheral intravenous infusion, adults should take 250-750 ml per day, slowly drip intravenously. In order to improve the utilization rate of amino acids, it should be used together with glucose solution or fat emulsion. 2 For central venous infusion, adults should take 500-750 ml per day, mixed with glucose, fat emulsion and other nutritional elements, and then continuously infused through the central vein (24 hours continuous use), and the dosage should be appropriately increased or decreased according to the doctor's advice based on age, symptoms, weight, etc.
Adverse Reactions
This product may cause rash-like allergic reactions. If this happens, the drug should be discontinued. Occasionally, nausea, vomiting, chest tightness, palpitations, chills, fever or headache may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction, severe uremia, and patients with amino acid metabolic disorders. It should be used with caution in patients with severe acidosis and congestive heart failure.
