Tetracaine Hydrochloride Syrup

Methyl fiber is a skeleton material that can increase the viscosity of the solution and play a lubricating role. 『Pharmacology and Toxicology』 Most of the tetracaine hydrochloride in this product is hydrolyzed and converted by plasma cholinesterase, with an onset time of 2 minutes, Pka8.5 at 25·C, and a maximum dose of 100mg at a time. Most of the hydrolysis product, para-aminobenzoic acid, is excreted in the urine, and dimethylaminoethanol is further degraded by oxidation, despasm, deamination and other reactions and is also excreted in the urine: some are still free or combined with gluconic acid.

The main ingredient of this product is: tetracaine hydrochloride, and its chemical name is {4-(butylamino)benzoic acid-2-(dimethylamino)acetic acid hydrochloride}.

This product is off-white, translucent, fluid adhesive.

This product is used as a lubricating anesthetic on the surface of cavities, mainly for local anesthesia during intubation of the esophagus, urethra, vagina, anus, rectum, etc.

For external use. 2-5g at a time, for intubation, microscopy or before surgery. 1. When used for gastroscopy or esophageal dilation, about 2g of this product can be dripped on the root of the patient's tongue, and the patient can swallow, which will immediately have an anesthetic effect; at the same time, apply an appropriate amount of this product to the surface of the gastroscope tube or dilator (for lubrication) and the operation can be performed. 2. When used for laryngeal or vocal cord examination, the above method can be used. 3. When used for male urethra (such as urethral dilation, cystoscopy, retrograde pyelography, transurethral prostatectomy, catheterization, etc.), first clean and disinfect the urethral opening, insert the hose into the urethra, squeeze this product (about 5g), clamp it with a penis clamp, and insert the cystoscope and other instruments after 2 minutes for microscopy or surgery. 4. When used for female urethra examination, the basic method is the same as 3. 5. When used for gynecological vaginal examination, insert the hose into the vagina and squeeze in about 3g of this product. At the same time, a small amount of this product can be applied to the dilator or other instruments to increase lubrication and reduce vaginal damage. 6. When used for artificial abortion, this product can be squeezed on the cervical opening. After about 2 minutes, the cervix will relax and the operation can be performed. 7. When used for rectal endoscopy, the hose can be inserted into the anus, and about 3g of this product can be squeezed out. At the same time, a small amount of this product can be applied to the dilator or other instruments, and then the examination can be performed. This product cannot relax the anal sphincter when the anus needs to be dilated during anal rectal endoscopy. 8. When used for the anus or anal fissure, this product can be directly applied to the anus.

Allergic reactions may occur occasionally.

1. Patients with hyperallergic constitution are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients with ruptured cavities or exposed blood vessels are prohibited from using this product.

① This product is acidic and should not be mixed with alkaline liquid medicine: even acidic drugs can affect their dissociation value due to different pH values, resulting in reduced local anesthesia or delayed onset of action. ② When used with sulfonamide drugs, the latter will be less effective. ③ This product is incompatible with procaine hydrochloride, soap, potassium iodide, borax, bicarbonate, carbonate, cyanide, citrate, phosphate and sulfate.
