This product is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibacterial drug. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit bacterial DNA gyrase and hinder bacterial DNA replication to achieve antibacterial and bactericidal effects. This product has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, etc. It has stronger antibacterial effects on Gram-positive cocci such as Staphylococcus and Pneumococcus than ofloxacin and norfloxacin; it has stronger antibacterial effects on Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, anaerobic bacteria such as Bacteroides, and Haemophilus influenzae than ofloxacin and norfloxacin; it has stronger antibacterial effects on Chlamydia trachomatis than ofloxacin. In vitro tests have shown that the frequency of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa developing resistance to this product is low.

The main ingredient of this product is toloxacin tosylate, and its chemical name is: (±) 7-(3-amino-1-pyrrolidinyl)-1-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-1,8-naphthyridine-3-carboxylic acid p-toluenesulfonate monohydrate. This product is a hard capsule, and the content is off-white or light yellow crystalline powder.

This product is suitable for the following mild to moderate infections caused by sensitive bacteria: 1.
