Tripibutone Tablets

This product has the effect of selectively relaxing the smooth muscle of the gallbladder and directly inhibiting the sphincter of Oddi in the bile duct. The relaxation of the bile duct sphincter can reduce the resistance of the common bile duct to the confluence of the duodenum; this product can reduce the pressure in the gallbladder and bile duct, promote the discharge of bile and pancreatic juice, improve appetite, and eliminate abdominal distension. This product also has the effect of antispasmodic, analgesic and choleretic.

The main ingredient of this product is tripibutone, and its chemical name is: 3-(2,4,5-triethoxybenzoyl)propionic acid.

Slightly yellow crystals or crystalline powder, odorless, easily soluble in chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water, and easily soluble in sodium hydroxide solution.

This product has a strong selective relaxant effect on the bile duct smooth muscle, and also promotes the secretion and excretion of bile and pancreas. It is used for gallbladder and bile duct diseases.

Oral administration: 400 mg each time, 3 times a day, after meals.
