Function and Efficacy
Promethazine hydrochloride is an antihistamine that can counteract capillary dilation caused by allergic reactions, reduce capillary permeability, have a mild antispasmodic effect on bronchial smooth muscle, and also have obvious central sedative and certain antitussive effects; potassium guaiacol sulfonate is an expectorant that increases the secretion of respiratory glands, dilutes sputum, and makes it easier to cough up; pentoxyverine citrate is a non-addictive antitussive drug with central and peripheral antitussive effects, which can mildly inhibit bronchial receptors and weaken the cough reflex.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, each package contains 5 mg of promethazine hydrochloride, 125 mg of potassium guaiacol sulfonate, and 10 mg of pentoxyverine citrate.

Indication
Used for cough and sputum caused by cold or flu.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. Adults take 2 packets at a time, 3 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Reactions may include nausea, gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, and skin allergies.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for patients with pulmonary hemorrhage, acute gastroenteritis and nephritis. 2. It is contraindicated for newborns and premature infants.
