Appearance

This product is a capsule containing small particles in off-white enteric casing.

Indication

It is suitable for gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, stress ulcer, reflux esophagitis and Zollinger syndrome.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration, do not chew. 1. Peptic ulcer: 1 tablet at a time, 1-2 times a day, 4-8 weeks for gastric ulcer (2-4 weeks for duodenal ulcer) as a course of treatment. 2. Reflux esophagitis: 1-3 tablets at a time, 1-2 times a day, 4-8 weeks as a course of treatment. 3. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 3 tablets at a time, 1 time a day, then can be adjusted to 1-6 tablets per day according to the condition.

Adverse Reactions

Omeprazole enteric-coated capsules are well tolerated. Common adverse reactions are diarrhea, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence and constipation. Occasionally, serum aminotransferase (ALT, AST) increases, rash, dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia, etc. These adverse reactions are usually mild and disappear automatically. They are not related to the dose. No serious adverse reactions have been observed in long-term treatment. However, in some cases, gastric membranous cell hyperplasia and atrophic gastritis may occur.

Precautions

This product is contraindicated for those who are allergic to it, those with severe renal insufficiency and infants.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: It is forbidden to use in infants and young children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Although this product has no teratogenic effect in animal experiments, it should generally not be used by pregnant women, and should also be used with caution in lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: It is not yet clear.

Drug Interactions

This product can delay the elimination of drugs metabolized by the liver in the body, such as diazepam, phenytoin sodium, warfarin, nifedipine, etc. When this product is used together with the above-mentioned drugs, the dosage of the latter should be reduced.
