Levonorgestrel
Indication
It is mainly used as a contraceptive and emergency contraceptive, and is used in combination with estrogen. It is a short-acting and long-acting oral contraceptive that inhibits ovulation and is currently the most widely used at home and abroad. It can also be used to treat irregular menstruation, functional uterine bleeding, and endometriosis.
Precautions
1. Pregnant women and lactating women should not take it; 2. Patients with breast cancer and reproductive organ cancer, liver disease or abnormal liver function, suspected pregnancy, overdue abortion, history of thrombophlebitis, thromboembolism or cerebral hemorrhage are prohibited from taking it.
