The oilfield-specific defoamer is a silicone composite defoamer. This product can eliminate the foam formed in the mud due to the overflow of the bottom natural gas during the oilfield drilling process, and the foam formed because surfactant is excessively decomposed or treating agent is fermented by high temperature, the generated foam produced by various gases can also eliminate the use of water flooding due to the pressure drop of the oil layer, especially in marine oil recovery, and eliminate the foam in the degassing and vacuuming process before injecting seawater.
This product is also suitable for the defoaming of oilfield drilling mud, as well as the elimination of foam in the separation of oil and gas, demulsification and dehydration, and crude oil transportation which improves equipment operation rate and output.

1. This product can be directly added to various water-based drilling systems to eliminate various foams.

2. When the product is used to prepare mud, it should be added simultaneously with the addition of soil particles and stone powder, and then add the wooden sulfonate for suspending the slurry. If the foam is still more, the appropriate dilution of the product can be added ( 5%~10% dilution).

3. The amount of defoamer is adjusted between 0.002% to 0.005% of the base pulp (either volume ratio or weight ratio will be fine)

4. If the product is used for defoaming and foam suppression in the degassing process of offshore oil extraction, it must be added before the water inlet of the vacuum tower or added with the seawater.

5. When the product is used for defoaming of oil and gas separation in water-containing oil transportation (especially when water containing 30%~40% of water), it should be uniformly and continuously added according to the amount of treatment or oil transportation, and the effect is best. The amount is also the least.
