What is Adipotide?
It belongs to a class of peptide compounds that can specifically target and bind to specific receptors expressed on vascular endothelial cells (mainly those associated with adipose tissue vasculature), and then trigger a series of reactions to induce apoptosis, or the programmed death of vascular endothelial cells in adipose tissue.
