Product Detail

Iron sulfate, also known as high-speed iron sulfate, is a light yellow or white powder. Dissolve in water and alcohol. An aqueous solution is acidic, and when heated to boiling, it can generate basic salts. It is easy to form iron vanadium in the form of MFe (SO4) 2 · 12H2O with alkali metal or ammonium sulfate, such as ammonium iron sulfate NH4Fe (SO4) 2 · 12H2O, also known as ferroammonium sulfate. Iron sulfate has various hydrates containing 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12 water molecules. The most common is Fe2 (SO4) 3 · 9H2O, which is a yellow crystal with a relative density of 2.1. Hydrates can be heated to obtain anhydrous salts. Hydrates can be prepared by oxidizing divalent iron salts with nitric acid or hydrogen peroxide in sulfuric acid solution.
