ARC-015 Tetrachloroethylene launched by Arctic Chemical is ultra-high purity industrial-grade perchloroethylene with minimum purity 99.9%, CAS No.127-18-4, molecular formula C₂Cl₄, also commonly abbreviated as PCE or PERC. This product is produced via high-purity chlorination synthesis, multi-stage rectification, distillation purification and exclusive stabilizer blending process, removing trace trichloroethylene, water, chloride acid and heavy metal impurities to reach 99.9% ultra-high purity standard, far exceeding conventional industrial PCE grades.

At room temperature, ARC-015 presents clear, colorless, transparent liquid with mild characteristic solvent odor, no suspended particles, no yellow discoloration, low Hazen color value. Its physical properties include moderate boiling point 121℃, stable density 1.622 g/cm³ (20℃), low water solubility and excellent dissolving capacity for grease, mineral oil, cutting fluid, wax, resin and printing ink. Different from ordinary tetrachloroethylene without stabilizer, ARC-015 is added with proprietary composite stabilizers to effectively inhibit solvent photolysis and hydrolysis during storage and heating cleaning, reduce acid generation and avoid equipment corrosion and workpiece surface tarnish after degreasingWestlake C....

This solvent is non-flammable under normal temperature and pressure, with high flash point, greatly lowering fire risk during closed vapor degreasing production lines. It has outstanding volatility balance: fast enough to evaporate completely without residual film on metal parts after cleaning, while not overly volatile to cause excessive solvent loss, which effectively reduces long-term factory operation cost. It is compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, zinc plating and most hard plastic substrates, suitable for precision hardware, auto parts, electronic metal stamping piece degreasing.

Beyond metal vapor degreasing, ARC-015 serves as core solvent for industrial dry cleaning, quickly dissolving fabric oil stains, grease and mineral dirt without damaging textile fiber structure. It also acts as efficient remover for offset printing ink, screen printing paste and adhesive residues, and can be applied as reaction medium & raw material for fluorine chemical and organic chlorine intermediates synthesis.

Every batch of ARC-015 undergoes full-item GC chromatographic inspection, water content, acid value, residue and stabilizer content testing before delivery to guarantee consistent high purity indicators.
