Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DOP / DEHP, CAS:117‑81‑7, molecular formula is a universal primary phthalate plasticizer synthesized by esterification of phthalic anhydride and 2‑ethylhexanol, followed by neutralization, water washing, distillation and refining. It appears as colorless to pale yellow transparent oily liquid with slight characteristic odor. Insoluble in water, freely miscible with most organic solvents, excellent compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, synthetic rubber, cellulose resin and other polymers. It features high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, good cold resistance, heat resistance and electrical insulation performance. As the most widely used general-purpose plasticizer in plastic industry, it complies with industrial plastic additive standards. Applications
PVC Soft Products Industry (Core Consumption Field)
It is the dominant primary plasticizer for flexible PVC. Widely used for PVC film, plastic wallpaper, PVC hose, plastic sandals, plastic toys, calendared sheets and extruded soft profiles. It effectively reduces resin processing temperature, improves material flexibility, elongation and processability, endows finished products with good soft touch and low-temperature resistance.
Wire & Cable Insulation Industry
Applied as plasticizer for PVC wire insulation and sheath materials. It provides excellent electrical insulation, heat resistance and low volatility, suitable for power cables, control cables and building wiring materials, meeting insulation performance requirements of low-voltage wires.
Artificial Leather & Flooring Industry
Key additive for PVC artificial leather, synthetic leather and plastic floor tiles. Improve the ductility of coating layer, enhance surface smoothness and wear resistance, reduce material brittleness under low temperature.
Rubber & Polymer Composite Industry
Serving as plasticizer and softener for nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, EPDM and other synthetic rubbers. Promotes filler dispersion, reduces rubber mixing viscosity, improves elasticity and cold resistance of rubber products such as sealing strips, rubber hoses and gaskets.

Packaging & Storage
Standard package: 200kg iron drum; IBC tank container or bulk ISO tank can be customized for large-volume orders.
Store in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, keep packages tightly sealed. Keep away from high-temperature heat sources, open flame and strong oxidizing agents. Avoid direct sunlight exposure and rain soaking during transportation. Shelf life: 24 months under sealed dry storage condition.
