    Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate
    Lithium hydroxide monohydrate, with the chemical formula LiOH·H₂O, CAS No. 1310-66-3, is a white crystalline inorganic compound. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol. The product easily absorbs carbon dioxide and moisture from air.
    Main Grade & Specifications
    The mainstream commercial type is Battery Grade, featuring high purity and low impurity contents (low Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, heavy metals). Typical LiOH content ≥56.5%. Industrial grade is also available for general chemical applications.
    Key Applications
    Raw material for manufacturing lithium-ion battery cathode materials, especially nickel-rich ternary cathode (NCM) and high-nickel cathode precursors.
    Used for lithium grease production; lithium grease performs well under high temperature conditions.
    Raw material for lithium salts, lithium ceramics and other lithium fine chemicals.
    CO₂ absorbent in aerospace, submarines and closed breathing systems.

    Packaging: 25kg woven bag with inner PE bag, or 500kg/1000kg jumbo bag.
    Storage: Keep sealed, store in dry and cool warehouse, away from acid, moisture and carbon dioxide.

    LITHIUM HYDROXIDE MONOHYDRATE neutralizes acids exothermically to form salts plus water. Reacts with certain metals (such as aluminum and zinc) to form oxides or hydroxides of the metal and generate gaseous hydrogen. May initiate polymerization reactions in polymerizable organic compounds, especially epoxides. May generate flammable and/or toxic gases with ammonium salts, nitrides, halogenated organics, various metals, peroxides, and hydroperoxides. May serve as a catalyst. Reacts when heated above about 84°C with aqueous solutions of reducing sugars other than sucrose to evolve toxic levels of carbon monoxide [Bretherick, 5th Ed., 1995].
