Calcium sulfate hemihydrate Use and Manufacturing
Rotary kiln calcining raw gypsum is pulverized to 1-3 mm and then added to indirectly heated rotary kiln for 15 min. The final temperature of the material is 140-150℃ (calcined medical gypsum is 115-125℃). The clinker is crushed, and the calcium sulfate hemihydrate pressurized gypsum is obtained by screening. It is crushed into 15-20 nm and then added to the autoclave. It is steamed for about 7 hours under pressure at a temperature of about 120°C, and then dried at 120-220°C. , And then crushed and sieved to obtain α-calcium sulfate hemihydrate
The α-type is used as a high-strength gypsum component, gypsum board, casting model, and fixed cemented parts during mechanical processing in construction. Β type is mainly used in building materials, whitewashed gypsum components, gypsum statues, ceramics, precision mechanical casting molds, chalk, gelling agent and so on.
