Methods of Manufacturing

Dissolve 1, 2, 4-acid diazonium oxide in fuming sulfuric acid, cool to 10°C, add mixed acid within 7h at 10-15°C, and keep stirring for 13h. The nitrate is poured into ice water, diluted at less than 20°C, cooled to 5°C and filtered to obtain a yellow to yellow-brown paste industrial product containing 6-nitronaphthalene-1, 2-diazooxy-4-sulfonic acid above 50. Raw material consumption quota: 953kg/t of 1, 2, 4-acid diazonium oxide, 769kg/t of fuming sulfuric acid, and 300kg/t of nitric acid.

Uses

Dye intermediate. It is used to produce acidic medium black T and acidic medium black A.
