Acid yellow 42 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using benzidine-2, 2'-bissulfonic acid and 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone as raw materials, first double nitridation of the former, and then coupling with the latter to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing.

Uses

Acid yellow R is mainly used for wool dyeing and direct printing of wool, silk and viscose fabrics. When used in the same bath dyeing of wool and other fibers, acetate fiber and cellulose fiber have a slight stain. Has good discharge. It can also be used for nylon dyeing and leather coloring.
