Matrine(Sophocarpidine; α-Matrine) is an alkaloid found in plants from the Sophora genus. Drug Function and Efficacy
It can inhibit the occurrence of cachexia in tumor-bearing mice, inhibit the growth of cancer cells, and prolong the survival time of tumor-bearing mice by more than double.
