Energy throughput over lifetime calculation of Li-Ion Battery cell ?

Ben Welborn  Follow

Hello,

So for one cycle, the energy throughput in the battery is the integral of the Voltage of capacity function. It's very close to the nominal voltage but since your have many cycles then it's not enough as approximation. Also, it's negative in discharge and positive in charge or the opposite, or you can consider it always positive if you the direction of the energy is not important to you.

Best Regards,

Hi,

Not sure if I understood your question right.

1. If you measure the capacity value after each RPT, doesn't it give the delta capacity already? What do you mean by 'capacity degradation is not considered'?
2. Dont you make a SOC correction after each RPT cycles?
